Jade’s Snappy Salad
Ever in a pinch for lunch but want something healthy and satisfying? Me too! That’s why I usually have Hilary’s Eat Well Hemp and Greens frozen burgers in my freezer! They are yummy gluten-free, vegan burgers that you can find in the freezer section of your grocery. I pop one in the toaster (usually for 2 rounds) and then add it to my favorite salad.
I try to incorporate fresh, raw greens into my everyday routine. They are great for naturally cleaning your liver, amongst all other benefits! In this salad I use a mix of organic kale, arugula and broccoli sprouts as my base! These greens are packed with nutrients including antioxidants, Quercetin, vitamin B, C + K, calcium, potassium, folate and more!
It takes just 5 minutes to whip this up. I just pop a burger in the toaster and by the time it’s done round 2, I’ve already finished preparing my salad. Once the burger is browned at the edges, I place it on top of my salad and dress it with raw hemp seeds, chopped walnuts and my homemade Lemon Tahini Dressing. You can add more toppings to your salad like roasted or fermented beets, carrots, broccoli, fresh berries and avocado! I kept it simple here because when you’re in a pinch for time, you just want to fill your belly quickly with nutrient dense foods. Check it out and don’t forget the Lemon Tahini Dressing!
I hope you love it! Let me know how it comes out and make sure to tag me on Instagram @health.girl.guru and #HGGBITES
