Paleo Christmas Pancakes
If you’re in the mood for gluten-free, naturally sweet pancakes this Christmas morning (or any morning:) then you have to try my Paleo Christmas Pancakes! This is a quick semi-homemade recipe that will be ready and on the table in 10 minutes! You only need a handful of ingredients to make these festive cakes. The beautiful red coloring comes from organic beet powder (I promise they won’t taste like beets). Beets have natural sugars that make these fluffy pancakes sweet without the added sugar!
Beets help keep blood pressure in check, fight inflammation while improving digestion and can also aid in athletic performance! You can make a stack of these delicious, gluten-free + guilt-free pancakes pre or post workout!
All you need is a bag of Bob’s Red Mill Paleo Pancake and Waffle Mix and a few staple kitchen items to whip up these fluffy hotcakes. The organic beet powder gives this dish an extra holiday festive feel! I like Sunfood Superfoods Organic Beet Powder, and all you need is 1 tablespoon to make them vibrantly red! I sprinkled my cakes with unsweetened coconut flakes for that white Christmas feel, and topped it off with fresh berries + honey! These are so simple to make and will give you lots of time to spend with your family on Christmas morning!
