Thanksgiving Orange Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry sauce is one of my favorite side dishes on Thanksgiving! When I was a little girl, I admit that I used to LOVE canned cranberry sauce! Nowadays, I really enjoy making this Thanksgiving Orange Cranberry Sauce for this special dinner. The cranberries are both sweet and tart, and the freshly squeezed oranges add a slight citrus flavor.

Cranberries are high in quercetin, antioxidants and polyphenols. In fact, cranberries are among the main fruit sources of quercetin. They are also high in vitamin C, which is essential for the maintenance of your skin, muscles, and bones.

This recipe uses coconut sugar, raw honey, fresh squeezed oranges + cinnamon for a tart, yet sweet and warm side that’s sure to please everyone at the table! The aromatic scent of honeyed cranberries boiling on the stovetop perfumes the entire kitchen with a signature holiday smell! I hope you enjoy this classic holiday dish 🙂
